About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the resort’s procurement, purchasing, supplier coordination, and receiving operations across both pre-opening and resort operations. This role is responsible for ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, ethically, and in line with KAIA’s quality, financial, and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening
- Lead pre-opening procurement planning, supplier setup, delivery coordination, and purchasing processes.
- Coordinate procurement of OS&E, FF&E, operating supplies, equipment, and opening requirements.
- Establish purchasing procedures, approval workflows, receiving controls, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate closely with project teams, Accounting, and Department Heads to manage deliveries, inventory tracking, and operational readiness.
- Support local sourcing and sustainable procurement initiatives aligned with KAIA’s values.
Resort Operations
- Oversee day-to-day purchasing operations, including purchase requests, quotations, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and receiving processes.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with approved budgets, policies, and internal controls.
- Manage supplier performance, contract coordination, inventory support, and cost control initiatives.
- Work closely with Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, Wellness, and other departments to support operational needs.
- Maintain purchasing records, reporting, procurement systems, and supplier databases.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, sustainability, and purchasing practices across the resort.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, ideally within hospitality or resort environments.
- Pre-opening experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in luxury, boutique, island, or remote resort environments is an advantage.
- Native Thai speaking and able to professional in English.
