- Melati Beach Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to lead and develop our culinary operations.
- Located on the island of Koh Samui, both resorts offer unique guest experiences with multiple restaurants, bars, and dining concepts. The Chef will play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards, leading kitchen teams, and ensuring consistent quality across our food and beverage operations.
- The position will be based at one of the properties, with full operational focus and responsibility for the culinary operations at that resort.
- Key Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations and events.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen teams to maintain high culinary standards
- Develop menus and dining concepts aligned with guest expectations
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Manage food cost control, purchasing, and inventory
- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation in the property.
- Collaborate with management on culinary development and guest dining experiences
- Qualifications
Proven experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a hotel or resort environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of international cuisine and resort dining concepts
- Good command of English
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Experience working in Thailand.
