Job Location: Laguna Golf Phuket
Job Purpose:
The Caddie Master is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the caddies and caddie house facilities ensuring excellent guest satisfaction. Managing scheduling, overseeing daily operations, training new caddies or those who require based on feedback and arranging assistance with tournament activities such as scoring and novelty recording.
Key Result Areas:
Caddie Operations
• Manage daily caddie assignments and schedule rotations.
• Manage caddie attendance daily and leave
• Ensure adequate caddie levels based on seasonality or high bookings volume periods
• Ensure daily communication of caddie booking process with reservation team
• Ensure caddies perform duty as per LGP caddie manual
• Coordinate caddies for golf course maintenance when requested
• Ensure caddies conduct themselves in a professional and polite manner to be aligned with caddie rules and regulations
• Review golfer feedback from drop box daily and or any complaints with improvement plans for poor performing caddies
• Review 59club caddie audit feedback
Facility & Service Standards
• Ensure caddie house facilities are maintained to hygienic standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams regarding repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of caddie house
Events & Member Relations
• Assign caddies to perform scoring duties or novelty recording during official events
• Ensure caddies understand all golf formats and able to complete scoring for golfers.
Team Leadership
• Lead, supervise, and motivate operational teams to achieve high performance and service excellence.
• Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Key Qualification:
1. Minimum 3–5 years' experience in hospitality, golf club, resort, or clubhouse operations.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
3. Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
4. Experience in customer service and team management.
5. Good command of English communication.
6. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and operational systems.
