Position : Public Area Supervisor
Job Detail
Essential Functions
1. Check public areas (lobby, restaurant, function rooms, paving blocks, toilet, and back of the house).
2. Ensure hosts under his/her supervision follow the SOPs.
3. Assists with the upkeep of discipline and house rules.
4. Report all defects and maintenance required to Engineering department and make the follow up.
5. Keep the logbook up to date for Supervisors.
6. Maintain appropriate standards of dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance of subordinate hosts.
7. Attend daily briefing and other meeting as required by Supervisors.
8. Control and requisitions guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen necessary for the daily operation.
9. Maintain and adhere to the policy regarding Lost and Found and report any security concerns to supervisors.
10. Handle customer complaints if possible, or report them to supervisors.
11. Coach, counsel, discipline and develop subordinate hosts.
12. Support and be actively involved in the company values.
General
1. Train Housekeeping hosts according to set departmental standards, policies and procedures and evaluation.
2. Conduct job orientation of newly employed hosts.
3. Ensure that communication between the hosts and superiors is properly flowing.
4. Ensure that communication between the Housekeeping Department and other departments is properly flowing.
5. Establishes effective employee relations.
6. Responsible for proper utilization and security of equipment in work areas.

• Positive approach to customer service
• Able to handle physically demanding workload
Desirable Job Skills
• Well organized
• Proven track record in hotel of similar
standard in similar capacity
