Qualifications – General Manager
Halfmoon Festival – Koh Phangan
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Event Management, Festival Operations, Entertainment, Hospitality, or related industries
• Proven experience managing large-scale events, music festivals, nightlife, or entertainment operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple departments and external partners
• Experience in budget planning, financial management, cost control, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management
• Ability to oversee overall festival operations including production, ticketing, F&B, vendors, logistics, marketing, and guest experience
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with owners, investors, sponsors, artists, suppliers, and government authorities is an advantage
• Understanding of revenue generation strategies, sponsorship, event sales, and commercial operations
• Ability to analyze operational performance and prepare management reports and business recommendations
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
• Flexible working hours and able to work during weekends, holidays, and nighttime operations
• Based in Koh Phangan or willing to relocate
