We are looking for a Marketing Specialist in Koh Samui, reporting to our Hotel Manager and managing our marketing strategy for Hotel and Beach Club, with a passion for marketing and creativity, a whatever it takes mentality, and a drive to be extraordinary!

Your tasks will cover the following:
• Supporting global team and local team in developing a marketing strategy for the property
• Managing the annual marketing plan for the Hotel (including Beach Club)
• Creating the marketing budget during budget season and making sure budget is monitored on a regular basis in coordination with Hotel Manager and corporate team.
• Working with Food & Beverage and other departments to plan promotional campaigns for rooms, Spa, Gym and F&B outlets ensuring information is distributed in a timely and detailed manner to all concerned.
• Helping Sales team in planning and preparing for the participation at trade shows, fairs, exhibitions, workshops, road shows, sales blitz, etc. to be in line with brand guidelines.
• Being responsible for strategy and growth of marketing partnership relationships (sponsors) in line with brand identity and vision.
• Working with the Global Team on a PR strategy to ensure the relevance, amount and type of coverage required to raise awareness, win reviews and ensure consistent corporate and product branding and image.
• Management of digital media including search, display and metasearch to drive online exposure to hotel & beach club websites.
• Exploring new online business opportunities with third party sites, for rooms, F&B and spa.
• Responsible for content creation for both Hotel & Beach Club: organizing and planning photoshoots/videoshoots, managing day to day local social media stories, while always making sure the brand image is respected
An ideal candidate will have the following personality traits, skills and experiences:
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality Industry, specifically in the luxury hotel brands segment – must have marketing experience.
• Understands luxury branding and importance of customer service and personal contact with clients.
• Prior experience with digital marketing, social media management, working in luxury lifestyle sector and/or hospitality would be desired from the candidate.
• Is fluent in English, any additional language is a plus!
• Is creative, courageous, adventurous and spots opportunities to shake things up.
• Has excellent organizational and time management skills; is ambitious and hardworking.
• Is people oriented and not afraid of trying new ways of doing things or other people’s (sometimes crazy) ideas. Here, we cherish and celebrate diversity, so you’ll feel right at home whoever you are.
